I hereby declare the Summer of 2012 to be The Summer Of Wrestling! With two more wrestling events recently added to my calendar, my schedule for this month and next is now as follows:
On June 13, John and I are going to Bowie, MD to see the Bowie Baysox battle the Portland Sea Dogs. But, more importantly, wrestling legend Bret “The Hitman” Hart will be at the game taking pictures with, and signing autographs for, the fans.
On June 17, I will be going to Loafers Bar & Grill here in Baltimore to watch the WWE No Way Out pay-per-view.
On June 19, the night before my birthday, my loving and amazing wife is taking me to the live WWE Smackdown taping in Baltimore as my birthday present, a show at which John and his wife are joining us.
On June 24, John and I are crossing something off our respective bucket lists as we are taking the bus for a day trip in New York City to see the Ring of Honor (ROH) Best In The World II pay-per-view live at the famous Hammerstein Ballroom.
On June 29, John and I are going to the four-hour ROH television taping at DuBurns Arena in downtown Baltimore.
On July 18, I’ll be going back to Loafers Bar & Grill for the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
On July 20, John and I are traveling to Aberdeen, MD for front row seats at TNA (Total Nonstop Action) BaseBrawl at Ripken Stadium.
And finally, from July 22-24, I am taking a road trip from Baltimore to St. Louis (with an overnight stay in Indianapolis along the way) to be live at the 1,000th episode of WWE Raw with Jim and Mark.
And it’s only the first week in June, which means there’s still time to add some wrestling events to my calendar before the summer is over!
